About Me

I have been married for more than half my life - to the same guy! I have also crossed over the half way mark of parenting, though active parenting started phasing out about 10 years ago. What a delight to be friends with and LIKE your adult children! I enjoy watching their progress as much as I believe God watches mine, with joyful aniticipation of what comes next.

Books and music are big influences in my life. I truly enjoy the ones most that hit deep and rings with truth, influence, and authenticity. I'll be sharing many that make me stop, think, and reflect.

I am also on a health nut journey - which I have learned looks different for everyone. Nutrition and health are things I pursue to understand, and slowly implement in my life, but also not just trying to follow fads, but build a sustainable life change.

These are some of the things I plan to write about in my blog - as a work in progress. I don't believe there will ever be an arrival point, but a continual growing toward - a greater faith and worship, greater relationships (marriage, kids, family, friends), and growth in my health and nutrition journey.
